Site replication failed

by =?Utf-8?B?TWFyY2Vs?= <Marcel@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Jul 15, 2008 at 07:05 AM

Hello,

I have a problem with my site replication.

I have 2 DC's both in a seperate site.

The link between the sites is the default IP Site Link.

On DC1 the 5 partitions (domain,schema,configuration,domaindns,forestdns)
are not replicated, the error is 'principle name not found from DC2'.

The synchronisation between DC2 and DC1 works well.

On DC1 I see in the eventlog (directory Services) every 15 minutes 2 KCC
warnings (1566 and 1865) and 1 KCC error (1311). It looks like Kerberos is

failing.

I did already reset the networkaccount from the DC (stop KCC service
(disable), netdom /resetpwd...., reboot, start KCC service (automatic))
but
after 15 minutes the messages are back in the eventlog.

DNS is installed too on DC1, but AD partitions are not visible on DC1, the

domain partition isn't replicated from DC2.

At last I tried to do a DCPROMO on de DC1, but that failed too, dua a
logon
Failure "The target account name is incorrect".

Anybody an idee how to solve this issue.

Marcel.
