Hello,
I recently migrated from Windows 2003 SBS to Windows 2003 Standard R2. I
would say it was a pretty smooth transition. However, there is one thing
that
is weird.
I created a couple of new network printers and shared them. (yes I made
sure
"list in the directory" is checked.
I am unable to see these printer when you add printers on a workstation
when
you click the "find now" button. They do show up if you check the second
option to type in the path \\servername\printername
I have seen some discussions on this and I have even modified the default
domain policy to list printers in the directory, etc.
I am pulling my hair out so if anyone can shed some light on this please
let
me know.
