Restored systems SID problem

by cybermonkey@[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sep 22, 2006 at 09:22 AM

I have a server that's hardware is failing. So I made a full backup
of the system and restored it onto a newer system. When I load up the
restored system and try to log into the domain it says that the
computers account is deleted or missing. If I plug back in the old
failing system it logs in without a problem.

I thought that the SID should have been transferred with the system
state restore.

Is there a way that I can look at what the system says its SID is? And
has anyone else ran into this problem?

Thanks
Chris
