Is it possible to connect to my own external data source provider to MS
Business Scorecard Builder?
I have created my external olap datasource as xmla provider and tried to
connect from Microsoft business scorecard builder (MSBSB) in order to
create
scorecard using my data. However. MSBSB is not recognizing my data source
at
all. It is only looking at the MSAS2005. It is my understanding that
MSBSB
is xmla compliant. Any idea?
Connection string I am using:
provider=http://localhost/xmla/mydataprovider.asmx;data
source=localhost;initial catalog="Test Sample"
I get the following error msg: "The Business Scorecard manager server
could
not connect to the data source. Verify that all of the required data has
been entered in the boxes and that the connection information is correct."
