Type Mismatch

I tried to make the following statement:
   If Year(Rs("EncourageDate")) = Year(Now()) And
Month(Rs("EncourageDate")) 
= Me!Month 
 
But the result shows "Type mismatch"

Would you please help me solve this problem or give some instruction?
