Profile Display in Customer and Orders Manager App

by "Jeff Lynch" <jeff.lynch@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Aug 25, 2006 at 08:01 AM

What is the best way to "hide" one or more of profile's properties in the
Customer and Orders Manager UI? We would like to simplify the input and
editing of our "Organization" profiles but prefer not to modify the actual

profile store, just the UI.

Is it better to set the profile property's "Active" attribute to "No"
using
the Commerce Server Manager or is it better to add the hidden="true"
attribute to the property in the PresentationInfo.xml file? Or are these
two
methods equivalent?
