Interfacing Commerce server 2007 with existing ecommerce engine

by =?Utf-8?B?Uml0ZXNoIE1laHRh?= <RiteshMehta@[EMAIL PROTECTED] Apr 6, 2007 at 09:42 AM

We are planning to use an entire existing ecommerce application with
Microsoft commerce server 2007.It could be that we may replace it
completely
with commerce server or just take some existing modules of MS Commerce
Server
2007 and interface it the current ecommerce application of our client. I
had
the following question:

1) Can we only use the profiling component and interface it with current
custom commerce engine?

2)What is the effort involved in extending the pricing component to
implement custom contract pricing rules?

3)How can we intgerate profiling, marketing and analytics componets of MS
commerce with our exiting commerce engine? The current commerce engine has

implemented custom pricing logic (in form of stored procedures) on its
custom
data model. How can we preserve it and use other components of MS commerce

server?
