How do you unregister a custom Pipeline component?

I've created a customer Pipeline component and I've made some changes to
it.  
When I went to run the page that calls the Pipline I receive this error 
message:

Component Execution failed for component[0x2] hr: 0x80004002 ProgID: 
Sterngold.PromoPrice Could not create Component PromoPrice. This may be a 
component registration issue. Object cannot be cast from DBNull to other 
types. (orderform=Default) 

I went into the Pipeline editor and noticed that my custom component
showed 
a broken pipe icon.  How can I clear the system from even knowing about
the 
component so I can re-register it froms cratch?  I thought I would start 
there to try and figure out the error message.
