Is there order processing code in Retail or RetailBizDesk site?

I'm building the order processing workflow. The manager want to show all
new orders, after process an order, he want to change the order status to
"****pped Order" or "Saved order". 

My question is: Is there existing code to do this in Retail and
RetailBizDesk sample site(asp version)? Or I have to write my own code?
