Hi!
We are using MSCS 2002 with FP1.
We have the following production configuration that works for about
2 years already:
1. Web server (Windows Server 2003; MSCS 2002 Standard Edition with
SP2 ans FP1; one site with 3 applications - BizDesk, CatalogWebService
and the site itself)
2. Database server (Windows Server 2003, SQL Server 2000 with SP3a)
that hosts all the databases.
Now we want to add the second web server (web2) and move to a
load-balancing scheme.
1. We installed the same version of the software to web2 as it was
on our first server.
2. We used Commerce Server Manager to add web server to the web
site application (and succeeded with it).
3. But the web site does not start. The following error message
appears in the Application log:
Error in Commerce Administration Object : Description - 'The
www.wickesfurniture.com site contains too many applications. Commerce
Server 2002 Standard Edition allows a maximum of 1 Bizdesk and 1
non-Bizdesk application.'
Why is this message displayed? How to fix this?
The site on the first server continues to work well with this
configuration.
