CS2007 upgrade issue

by Sabs <cpsabari@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Oct 2, 2007 at 03:06 PM

Hi,
Apologies in advance is this is posted in duplicate - my earlier 'Post
Message' click resulted in a blank page so I'm retyping this again.

I'm trying to upgrade a CS2002 installation to CS2007 version. The
reference site we had used for CS2002 was Retail2002 (I know it is not
sup****ted but that was the one which was available when we started
developing the new site using CS). The installation of CS2007 (and
SP1) went well but when doing the migration of resources, I'm
encountering a problem. All the resources got upgraded to version 7.0
except for Transactions. When I try to migrate/upgrade the
transactions resource, the upgrade wizard just crashes writing the
following in the log file
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
15:49:58: <CS2007Upgrade>: Info: Orders options selected: schema - 'D:
\Program Files\Microsoft Commerce Server 2007\Sdk\Samples\SiteCreate
\Requisition.sql', exception log - 'C:\Do***ents and Settings
\Administrator\Local Settings\Temp\1\ExceptionOrders.log', processing
mode - 'Standard'.
15:51:26: <CS2007Upgrade>: Error: Exception thrown during Analyze
phase of 'Transactions' component:

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If any one of you know what exactly this issue is and a probable
solution, please let me know. All inputs regarding this is really
appreciated.

Thanks,
Sabari.
