User IP address problem

by "Navin Nair" <navin_nair@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Dec 3, 2005 at 01:27 PM

Hi,

We are using Commerce Server to analyze some non-commerce server IIS log
files. We have an intranet site where users hit the particular site and
their IDs are tracked in cs-username column of IIS log file. But the
LogUser
and IpRef table doesnt have data for all the client IP address that the
user
has hit the site from. If the user has hit the site from 5 different IP
addresses, the Loguser table may have only two entries for the user and
hence two ip addresses in the IpRef table. We have set only the "Use
username for visit inference" in the Web log im****t DTS
task->Advanced->Inference tab.

Do you think we are doing something wrong. Any help will be much
appreciated.

Thanks,
Navin
