Hi,
Firstly I noticed some holes in the weblog im****ts, so I ran the 'Data
Deletion' step, deleting chosen weblogs. That seemed to go fine, but I
don't really know how to test the results...
Secondly, I went to run a couple of DTS tasks from the 'DW Im****t Wizard':
'Configuration Synchronization' and 'Web Server log im****t'. The
ConfigSynch keeps giving me the helpful message of: 'Error Description:
The
task re****ted failure on execution.' But even if I ignore that and try to
run the web server log im****t, it doesn't find any logs to im****t, even
though there are lots of logs in the directory that are just waiting to be
crunched.
so:
- What's up with the ConfigSync? There isn't anything in the event log,
is
there another place I can look?
- Why can't my log im****t task see any of the big, juicy logs just begging
to be parsed?
