"Invalid expression ID specified" error in pipeline

Hi,

I've encountered a do***ented error in Commerce Server 2000 (Article ID : 
327721) that prevents a discount pipeline from running succesfully because
of 
invalid entries made by BizDesk into the campaigns database. The current 
resolution status is that it was resolved in CS 2002. At this point, 
upgrading is not an option, is there another way to resolve this?

Here is the exact error:
"ProgID: Commerce.OrderDiscount.1

Invalid expression ID specified, or expression ID not found in store. (ID
= 
'(null)')"

Any help is appreciated.
