Could anyone tell me how to find out my correct server name for my computer?

by "BB Smith" <bbethsmith@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sep 30, 2007 at 10:47 AM

My computer is an HP Pavilion Media Center m8100n TV/PC. While attempting
to send an email for the first time in WindowsMail, an error occurred and
it
said: The host 'SMTP' could not be found. Please verify that you have
entered the server name correctly. Subject 'Practice,' Account: 'POP3,'
Server: 'STMP,' Protocol: STMP, ****t: 25, Secure (SSL); No, Socket Error:
1101, Error Number: Ox800CCC0D.

I am an little old lady who is computer illiterate and a week or so ago,
when a form asked me what my server was, I had no idea, so said "POP3"
because I had seen it on other computers before, and can't remember what I

put in the other blank (it was a choice one had to make). The form had
nothing to do with my computer and should not have changed anything, but I

fear it might have. I would like to get rid of these errors if at all
possible. If anyone can help me, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!
