jpeg requests in entry page re****ts

I've got my web log im****t configured to exclude all the standard file
types
including *.jpg and *.jpeg. I'm trying to understand why my Entry Pages
re****t shows my banner ad jpeg file as one of the top entry pages. Can
anyone give me or point me toward a definitive list of re****ts that do or
do
not include "excluded" requests? If the Entry Pages, Exit Pages and Top
Requested Pages do not filter out excluded requests, can anyone give me a
rationale as to why this is so?
