Where do I start learning Visual Studio 2008 and it's capabilities

Hi,

I've been a SysAdmin for 20 years now, but have never gotten into the 
development end to any real degree. I would like to expand my abilities
and 
attended a Launch event and received a copy of Visual Studio 2008.  Can
you 
point me to resources for someone wanting to learn it's uses and
capabilities 
who has no prior experience with the product?  Books, website, any
resources 
would be useful.
