I installed Visual Studio PRO 2008 and proceeded to convert my legacy
VS2003
stuff.
NIGHTMARE!!! The debugger constantly locks up the system... ONLY way out
is
CTRL-ALT-DELETE and kill Browser window App. Also the debugger continues
to
see code that has been commented out or EVEN DELETED... and re****ts bogus
errors... ONLY WAY OUT IS TO UNLAOD VS COMPLETELY KILL ALL RELATED Browser
sessions and RESTART... sometimes have to reboot. VS 2008 debugger does
not
let me rock abck and forth from the Browser window to the VS window... if
I
try to move the VS window/resize it... it leaves a multitude of ghosts on
the
screen and never allows access to the Browser window... After making
changes
to correct and error, many a time I have to refresh the Browser window
immediately after is is drawn for the first time...(AND IT CHANGES TO the
new
behavior???) ... MUXH OF THE TIME, a line that fails to execute(gets
skipped) executes fine in the WATCH WINDOW, producing the expected
result...
??? BUGGY BUGGY BUGGY DEBUGGER... I am wasting more time dealing with the
flaws than truly evaluating the product... My VS 2003, gives me none of
these problems. ANYONE RELATING TO MY PAIN AND TRIBULATIONS???
Installation
was smooth and flawless! Read my NICK to see my environement/platform..
Thank you.
