Remove disconnected network map

by =?Utf-8?B?d2lsY28=?= <wilco@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Jul 31, 2008 at 04:36 AM

A drive mapping has appeared on a server running MS Server 2003 called
"Disconnected network drive (Z)".

The problem is that I cant remove this drive mapping. If I attempt to
remove it either via Explorer or by using the NET USE command, I get the
message, "the network connection could not be found". I have tried to
re-map
it but am told that "the local device name is already in use".
I have tried to search for it in the registry but this drive is not there.

I know that there are a lot of answers posted here, but none ot them works

for my situation.

Can anyone please suggest how I can remove this mapping?
