My home network has two printers on a desk top (Xp sp2). Both print
normally from the desktop. (USB connected)
I connect through a wirless network. Same workgroup. All printers and
both
computers and router (Speedstream 6300) show on the network in both
machines.
The problems come from a laptop (Vista). When I ask a program (Word,
Onenote or from a web page) to print I have to wait for the print screen
to
come up. This often takes over a minute befor I am able to choose which
printer I wish to use. Then I have to wait another minute for the
programs
send the data to the printer.
Is there any way to speed this up? or is this just the nature of things
when I mix Vista and XP
