I need help real bad.. about a game.. I bought final fantasy XI one week

I downloaded it and everything but I cannot go to the play online viewer..
everythime I click it on it is an error and says..
" play online viewer has stopped working, windows will shut down the
program
and notify you if a solution is possible "
and it's a micro soft problem.. what do I do??
