Hi yall,
I've been reading the TCP/IP book and at the DHCP session I read that the
earlier versions of DHCP pings the addressa about to be offered to check
if
it is being used or not. However, I tried to search a little more about it
but didn't find any other place mentioning the "ping" step.
Does anyone know if that is actually what happens? Since when this
modiffication took place?
