Is there SQL certification for application

Hi,

We about to work in a project our client asking us to get SQL server
2005 certification for our proposed application, i searched that there
is no SQL server 2005 certification for an application it is for
individual. Can any one clear my doubt what our client asking
regarding certification?
We going to develop our web based application in .NET and SQL server
2005.......
