MCTS/MCITP

by =?Utf-8?B?Q0xN?= <CLM@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Oct 4, 2007 at 09:57 PM

I do not currently have my MCDBA or any other MS certification. However, I

have been a Sql Server 2000 DBA for about five years now.
What I want to do is first get my MCTS Sql Server 2005 certification and
afterwards my MCITP Database Administrator. But here's my dilemma: I am
going to have keep this inexpensive as it does not look like my work will
pay
for me to enroll in a school and I don't have 1000's of dollars to enroll.
So my basic questions are "how can I get first my MCTS Sql Server 2005
certification studying on my own?" and "is this doable and realistic to do
on
your own?" considering that I do know the core of Sql Server 2000 as it
is.

Note: I can afford to pay for books, MS online courses, collections and
things like that.  I just can't afford a $6,000+ curriculum from a
training
school.
