Upgrading MCDBA

by =?Utf-8?B?aWR4IG91dC1vZi1ib3VuZHMgYWdhaW4/IQ==?= <idx out-of-bou Jul 2, 2007 at 09:02 AM

Hi everyone!

My boss has "encouraged" me to upgrade my MCDBA to the SQL Server 2005
equivalent - which I'm now starting to see is possibly the MCITP:DBA
course?

Or is the MCTS:DBA a better choice? I'm confused. I've been out of the
certification scene for about a year and a half now (finally building
experience!) only to check the sites today and see that things have
changed a
bit (i.e. MCSE going away and this new MCITP thing).

I'm currently a programmer (in C#), but do a lot of DBA and SQL Developer
work too. So any advice on a future cert-upgrade path would be
appreciated!!

Thanks,

Dan
