Three weeks after I installed SP2, my computer decided not to connect to
the
Net - or at least it says it's connected but the "local area" button says
"limited connectivity" - and nothing works online: browser, e-mail,
anti-virus update, etc. The LAN page from the taskbar says the network is
not providing an Internet address - but I can ping the ISP's computer and
the
ISP reads me as connected. Problem persists if firewall is turned off.
ISP
says it's an SP2 problem, I'm not the first person to tell them about it,
nothing they can do, so go hire a Windows programmer! MS sup****t page on
network connectivity problems is offline. HELP! please...
