Computer will not start

I loaded drivers for a hp7760 printer. After shutting down. I could not
start 
the computer back up. The startup would stop after the memory test and the

drivers for the cd and dvd loaded. I have tried numerous times to restart
and 
the computer gets to the above stage and quits. I run windows XP for home.

Any ideas??
