For about 3 days now, when I click on certain Folders within Outlook
Express,
the program becomes non-responsive and hangs. Yet, incoming e-mails
continue
to download properly and outgoing e-mails are sent with no problem.
When the program hangs, I must close Outlook Express by right-clicking and
closing out. I then get a message that Outlook Express is not responding.
I
"End Task", then I am asked to "Send Error Re****t" to Microsoft. I do.
I can reopen Outlook Express from the Desktop, yet clicking on the same
Folders causes the program to become non-responsive again.
I have run AVG Anti-virus & PC Micro-Trends Housecalls anti-virus
programs.
The second found Netsky.D. I then ran Symantic "Fix Netsky" software, but
nothing was found. I then manually deleted the infected file.
Any suggestions how to access the affected folders without having Outlook
Express stop responding?
