Each day I open Outlook Express from the Desktop. My e-mails download
properly and outgoing e-mails sent properly. Yet, starting October 22nd,
when
I attempt to open certain Folders within Outlook Express, the program
hangs.
I have to close the program by right-clicking and closing Outlook Express
altogether. I am then asked to send an automatic "Error Re****t" to
Microsoft
whcih I agree to do.
Outlook Express can be re-opened again from the Desktop, yet clicking on
the
same few folders cause the same hanging of the machine.
I have run AVG Anti-virus & PC Micro-trends Housecalls anti-virus
software.
While the first found nothing, the second program found only one Netsky.D
infrcted file. I ran Symantic's "Fix Netsky" program, which found nothing.
I
therefore manually deleted the infected file.
Any thoughts on how to access the Folders that cause Outlook Express to
not
respond?
