Bugcheck Error

by =?Utf-8?B?Q3ljbG9w?= <Cyclop@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Oct 19, 2004 at 04:41 AM

Good day!

My computer is constantly rebooting itself for no reason, at any time of
day. Sometimes three times in 15 minutes, sometimes once a day. In the
system log, I get a stop error (which is the crash error) as follows:

Error code 0000007f, parameter1 00000000, parameter2 00000000, parameter3
00000000, parameter4 00000000.

Which is always preceeded by another entry (1001), as follows:

the computer has rebooted from a bug check. the bug check was: 0x0000007f
(0x00000000, 0x00000000, 0x00000000, 0x00000000).

I am running Win XP SP2, Pentium 4 2.4C, 768RAM, Gigabyte MB.  I have
tried
replacing the memory sticks, power supply, removed Norton anti-virus and
firewall, ran ad-aware and other spyware programs (cleaned everything off)

and ran the anti-virus. I don't know what else to do, i suspect the
motherboard, but before i go and buy another one i want to make sure it's
that...

Can anybody please help me?

Thanks a lot!
