I can't view the files of all the computers on my network from all of the
other network computers.
I have an XP desktop wired connection to the Microsoft base station.
I have another XP desktop that has a Microsoft network adapter and can
connect to the internet via the base station.
I can view all the files on the wired computer from the wireless computer
and move files. However, when I try to access the files from the wireless
connected computer from the computer connected to the base station I get
an
access denied error message. I have set up all the files for sharing on
the
wireless computers so I should be able to share them.
Also, I just bought a laptop with Vista. I can see and share the files
from
this computer that are in the Public folder on my wired desktop but get
the
access denied message when I try to open up any of the other folders or
the C
drive.
I disabled all firewall software on the laptop. I have Mcafee on both
desktops.
