Hi. I think this is the right place for my problem, so here goes. I have a
wireless network at my house that my computer was connected to, and it
works
fine, but when I try to hook up the cable directly to my computer, nothing
happens. It doesn't even register that I have anything in the ****t. I
think
it has something to do with the fact that I nuked my hard drive a while
back,
and I'm missing some kind of software or drivers. The computer I'm on now
is
hooked up directly to my modem, and has no problems, so I know that my
modem
is working properly, as is my network.
I'm not very computer savvy, so any help I can get would be greatly
appreciated.
