I assume you have created a Message say "FirstXmlWebServiceReqquestMsg"
in Orchestation view setting the Message Type to be web referenced
request parameter type(from the Web Message Types - can be seen only
when you Web Reference your web service)

And in your orchestration before send shape you assign your XmlDo***ent
Message to this web service message param like:

FirstXmlWebServiceReqquestMsg.<ws_param_name> = FirstXmlDataMsg;

Let me know your steps differ.
