Glad to hear you got it working.

Should you need it at another time, you can debug the running code, by
compiling your custom pipeline component in debug mode, and turn on
remote debugging in the properties of the project. Then, let VS.NET
attach to the BTSNTSvc process and set your breakpoints.

Then you can debug what is happening.
