Sending HTTP response with HTTP 4xx or 5xx

I have a two-way request-response Receive ****t and I want to be able to
send 
the response with an HTTP status code other than 200. Is there a way to do

that? It seems like the HTTP adapter automatically slaps on an HTTP 200 
status when I send a response.
