Combining BizTalk Orchestrations with SSIS packages

by =?Utf-8?B?S2xhdXMgQXNjaGVuYnJlbm5lcg==?= <KlausAschenbrenner@[EMAIL PROTECTED] Feb 29, 2008 at 02:23 PM

Hi!

I have a scenario where I have to read about 40 MB of data from a
database,
transform this data into another format and write it then in another
database. Currently I'm doing the extract, transform and load with several

SSIS packages.

But these SSIS packages must be orchestrated with each other, because some

packages can be only executed, when other packages were already executed.

So my question is now, if it is a good solution and practise to
orchestrate
SSIS packages with an BizTalk Server orchestration? Or are there some
better
or more intelligent ways to achieve the same thing?

Thanks for your help
