Debugger terminates before attaching to MSCIS.EXE

by r.dahlen@[EMAIL PROTECTED] Nov 20, 2006 at 08:37 AM

I have reason to belive that some update from Windows Update (I=B4m
using automatic updates) has made my debugging environment stop
working.

I have developed several application integration components before, and
successfully debugged them from Visual Studio 2003 (according to the
description at http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms941768.aspx).

Now, after a couple of months with other work, my debugger just
terminates when I try to debug an AIC that I could previously debug
without any problems. It seems like the MSCIS.exe process starts and
then directly shuts down again, before the debugger is able to attach
to the process. There is nothing written to the event log and the code
in my AIC is not even reached.

Is there anyone who experienced this or can someone with a similar
configuration like me (XP Pro, VS.Net 2003 and BTS2002) with all recent
updates installed do a test?

Thankyou in advance!
