Ordered Delivery using DB2 Receive Adapter

by =?Utf-8?B?U3Rld2FydCBKb3ljZQ==?= <StewartJoyce@[EMAIL PROTECTED] May 14, 2008 at 03:29 AM

I have a requirement from a client to access data on a table on their DB2
database and to maintain the order the records were written to the table
when
using the DB Receive Adapter.
The DB2 Receive adapter is not serializable so there is no guarantee
records
retrieved from the DB2 database table will retrieved in the same order.
MQSeries is an option but would involve the client in a fair amount of
redesign.
However has anyone found a way for the DB2 Receive Adapter to be
configured
to grab one record at a time and not to have mutiple threads doing this or
if
there are multiple threads get them to queue behind each other?
