SSODB database could not grow

we are running Biztalk 2006 and the SSODB is filled up giving us all kinds
of 
errors.    I set the recovery method from full to simple this seemed to
free 
up some space within the database (which is SQL 2005 SP1).    Can you
shrink 
the SSODB database?
