Ordered message delivery

by =?Utf-8?B?R29yZG9uIFQ=?= <GordonT@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Mar 7, 2008 at 07:59 AM

Hi,

I'm using BT2006R2. What is the recommended way to ensure FIFO message
delivery when processing HL7 messages? I'm building a simple scheduling
interface which does some mapping to about 25 fields, then inserts the
data
into a SQL table using the BT SQL adapter. It will not use an
orchestration.
I've looked at some white papers that talk about message ordering using
SQL
tables, however, all that seems a little excessive for a simple scheduling

interface. It seems that checking the 'Ordered Delivery' option on the
send
****t would be sufficient.

Am I wrong here? I'm wondering what others have done regarding this
issue?
Are there things to consider like adding other subscribers to these
message
types in the future?

Thanks in adv.
