Hi,
I'm working through the End-to-End tutorial, and came across step 5:
"Create a Send ****t to Deliver Acknowledgments to the ADT System Using the
File Adapter"
After reading through this, my impression is that Biz Talk is going to
receive messages from the Sending app. using an MLLP adapter (socket) and
send Acknowledgement messages to the same application by dropping files in
a
folder. Am I interpreting this correctly?
Wouldn't this be extremely clumsy, as the sending app. wouldn't get the
ACK
until well after it timed out?
Is there a way to configure the MLLP adapter that receives the msg to
respond with the ACK instead?
In my experience working with other integration engines (Siemens OPENLink,
eGate, Sun ICAN, NEON), I've always seen ACK messages sent through the
same
socket that receives the message, even when the socket is considered
"one-way".
TIA for any help on this.
