Hello. I have recently bought Acer laptop with Vista Home Premium. For the
first few day there was no problem establi****ng connectivity both to my
home
ISP (it's a LAN) and my work LAN. However, with no obvious reason, now the
laptop cannot establish connection neither to my ISP (using static IP
address
and DNS - limited connectivity with access only to workgroup computers and
no
Internet) and my work LAN (DHCP-unidentified network with no connectivity
to
workgroup computers and Internet). I have tried virtually everything from
assigning static IP and DNS at work to reseting.
It has to be a Vista issue because I have tried with another laptop with
XP
and there were no problems establi****ng both connection and accessing
Internet and the workgroup. Please, advise. Thanks!
