Multipost means that you posted the same (nearly identical) question to
separate groups. Crossposting to relevant groups is acceptable and would
have allowed participants of each group to see what has been posted by
participants of the other groups. Multiposting disconnects the groups and
hinders sharing of knowledge with readers in the other groups queried.

As fare as "separate legitimate questions" goes, in the BASIC group you
identified the program as a QB45 program. In the batch groups, you omitted
the QB45 making it appear to be a general batch related issue when
actually
you want to send the formfeed from within your QB45 program.
