Quick Basic V4.5, Windows XP and ****t(s) access

by PSRumbaugh <PSRumbaugh@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Jul 20, 2007 at 02:42 PM

I have a Compaq Presario V2000 running Windows XP home SP2 that has
two USB 2.0 ****ts and no built in serial (RS232) or parallel (IEEE
1284) ****ts. I have a Radio Shack model 26-183 USB to RS232 serial
adapter cable and a LPT-PCM PCMCIA CardBus to parallel IEEE 1284 that
sup****ts SPP/ECP/EPP modes. I am running Quick Basic V4.5 in
conjunction with TameDos on Windows XP. Will Quick Basic V4.5 allow
me to access these two adapters from inside a .BAS program while in
the Windows XP environment?
