A Vb4 app doesn't run with a 1Gb memory pc

I have a VB4 application that I didn't do and I work with a PC with 1Gb of 
memory. When I run this application with 1Gb of memory, it shows me a
measage 
"Out of Memory". I need to reboot the PC with 512Mb of memory and now this

application runs with no problem.

Question: Has it any process to fix this problem with the memory in a VB4 
applications? I don't have permissions to make a new program (because it's

have a team to do this) and this application will have 1 year of running,
the 
maximum.

Anybody may help me?
