Debugging In Visual Studio 2005

by =?Utf-8?B?Y3Jhc2hyaXB1bA==?= <crashripul@[EMAIL PROTECTED] Dec 29, 2006 at 09:44 AM

I am trying to debug an application in VS2005. I am running XP Pro SP2 and

VS2005 version 8.0.50727.42 on a dual-core laptop.  When I try and debug
my
application I get a Microsoft internal error and VS2005 is locked up. If
I
run the application, without debuggin, I don't have any problems. I have
uninstalled/reinstalled VS and have even reimaged my machine and started
over
from scratch with no such luck. The application is using the SAP.NET
connector and Oracle Data Providers for .NET. I receive the internal
error
when I step into the code, instead of running it straight out, or when I
hit
a breakpoint. If I try this on other, simple applications I don't seem to

have the same problem. There is another developer here who does not have
this problem, with the same application, but he is not running a dual-core

machine.

Thanks in advance for any help.
