RE: Web farm best practices

Hi,

The core technology of building web farm from Microsoft is NLB (Network 
loading balance). However pure NLB cluster do not have built-in ability to

monitor and heartbeat on web service or application level. AC just
provides 
plenty of application layer monitoring and management functions based on 
NLB cluster.
