I also ran across this error when attempting to join a cluster. My
solution
was just the opposite. Troubleshooting a different issue I had installed
AC
2000 without the Event & Perf logging. I was trying to join a Cluster
that
had Event & Perf logging installed. Once I had installed Event & Perf
logging I was able to join the Cluster without issue.
