Hello. Not sure that this is the proper forum, but then not sure of any of
this. My laptop has "acquired" MSN Connection Center. When I check the
configuration from the toolbar icon, it is correct - connect via
broadband.
However, when I check on the application bar (the little bar in the
right-hand corner that lists all the apps that are running on my laptop),
there isn't even any option to indicate I can connect via broadband. And
every time I try to log onto the internet, I get a message that the
dial-up
hasn't been set up, and to select one. And broadband is not an option. So,
I
can't log on. I do have a workaround though - reboot and log straight in
to
the internet. I still get the message, but I can cancel and still log on.
Any
period of time after I log off, and I have to reboot again to get back on
the
internet.
I tried the 800 number. They say it's my internet provider. I say that's
bunk. Nothing changed. Just the connection center. I want to deinstall the
connection center only, but I can't find how to. It's either that or fix
the
problem, which I think is an incomplete install. But I can't find the
install
instructions/software, either. Can anyone help?
