Microsoft File Transfer Manager

I need to download an application from MSDN Subscriber downloads but when I

try to download, the Microsoft File Transfer Manager asks to update the 
version: I've followed it and updated (the version in "About" field is 5.0

build 0027, the last one) but it doesn't work. Every time it asks for
update 
and downloads don't start.
